He focuses on the practical use of numerical science & numerical engineering for a broad field in industry & academics.

To create large-scale accident and disaster plans, a satisfactory understanding and knowledge in the wide field of explosions and shock waves, such as “fluid mechanics,material engineering,energy engineering,detonation theory,chemical reaction theory and more”, is required. Further, numerical simulations related to such phenomena are complex, and therefore often cases exist that require large-scale numerial simluations which exceed a time-span of several months.
